Camry Hunt Board

The main hunt, paused on purpose while the market resets.

The target

  • Used Toyota Camry Hybrid — XLE or XSE trim only
  • Front-wheel drive only
  • 30,000 miles or fewer
  • Under $30,000
  • Light color — not black, not white
  • No red interior
  • No glass / panoramic roof
  • 45+ mpg combined (FWD XLE/XSE: 47 mpg ✓)
Also watching: Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L, on the same terms — it's the one Accord trim with leather, the 12.3″ screen, and 48 mpg combined.

Status

Waiting for the 2027 Camry to reach Florida lots — expected late Oct to early Nov 2026 — so used prices on 2025/26 cars soften.

Next full re-scan: Nov 4, 2026.

Qualifying Camry matches right now: none. The XLEs found so far were black or white, or priced over budget. It's a patience problem, not a price problem — two ~21k-mile XLEs have already listed under $28k in the wrong colors.

Lexus deal watch

An eye stays on the ES 300h the whole time. A genuine standout gets flagged immediately: a Florida car at roughly $42,000 or under, or a sharp price drop on any of the shortlisted cars. The everyday $45–51k listings don't count.

Fuel Math

Based on your actual driving — about 12,270 miles a year (work commute, Sunday church run, and soccer season) — and gas at $3.00/gallon. The Camry and the Lexus carry a 13.2-gallon tank; the Accord Hybrid's is a touch smaller at 12.8.

CarGallons / yearFuel cost / yearMiles per tank
Camry LE51 mpg ~241 gal ~$722 ~673 mi
Accord Hybrid EX-L48 mpg ~256 gal ~$767 ~614 mi
Camry XLE47 mpg ~261 gal ~$783 ~620 mi
Lexus ES 300h44 mpg ~279 gal ~$837 ~581 mi

The takeaway: at your mileage, the LE's fuel edge over the XLE is about $61 a year — roughly five bucks a month for giving up the leather and the big screen. The Accord EX-L slots in just ahead of the XLE (48 mpg to 47, about $16 a year cheaper) and still runs ~614 miles on a tank despite the smaller tank. The Lexus ES 300h costs about $53 a year more than the XLE at the pump; the real gap is the sticker, not the gas.
